WHO ARE WE

Pronounced Persevere and Determined, this unique fitness business was the brainchild of founder and head coach, Azmil Mohd Saleh, whom in June 2018 decided to setup a personal training only boutique studio. This concept is few and far between as most personal training services are offered in larger gyms as part of their services offered. Smarting from his experience in personal training in larger gyms prior to setting up    PRSVR // DTRMND, the aim is to provide clients with the utmost PRIVACY, DISCRETION and INTIMATE training environment offered in Klang Valley.  

 

We are for anyone who wishes to have a dedicated and focused fitness protocol but not before a full medical and psychological assessment are being done. No life changing training program should be without a proper nutrition consultation and here it is provided. 

If you think we are aiming at the affluent, think again. Personal training is an investment in oneself and the rewards and benefits are priceless. It is all about priorities. 

WHY PERSONAL TRAINING?

Anyone could join a gym. The question is, will they know what to do once they do? And even if they do, how many will consistently go once they have joined? And even if they are consistent, are they doing the right program or exercises to achieve whatever their fitness goals may be. Those who realise how difficult it is to achieve this will seek professional advice in the form of a personal trainer. However this is not the be all and end all of their problem. Not if the personal trainer is not equipped with the right qualifications, knowledge and experience to design the right training program for the clients. 

 

At PRSVR // DTRMND, we are coaches. Not just personal trainers as personal trainers are cheerleaders who count reps and make sure you complete your workouts. We offer a more holistic approach to training whilst still maintaining a structure to ensure progress and results. 

 

At PRSVR // DTRMND, we get to know the clients first. We assess them beforehand. Not just to find out the end result they want but how they would like the journey to be. We do not blindly put a client through a training program before knowing their limitations. Constant monitoring and evaluation will keep both the client and coach honest.

WHY HERE?

Each piece of equipment and implement in the training area have been carefully selected to serve the purpose and objective of each client. Notable brands such as Eleiko and Rogue make up what we would like to regard as the conventional equipment while brands such as Hedstrom, Hyperwear and Wreckbag dominate the international market when it comes to unconventional training implements. We have them all here for our clients’ training pleasure.

Also the founder, Azmil Mohd Saleh has turned passion into a business with only one goal in mind. To be the best personal training provider in the country, if not the region. Originally equipped with a Crossfit coaching certificate, he is also the first and only Certified Physical Preparation Specialist coach in the region. This CPPS certification is the gold standard among strength and conditioning coaches, personal trainers, athletic performance coaches and physical therapists worldwide with most of the NFL and WWE strength coaches boasting this qualification. He is also a Functional Movement Screen professional where clients will be physically assessed prior to the start of a program to evaluate his fundamental movement pattern, flexibility and mobility capacity. 

Started out coaching group Crossfit classes at Fuel Athletics Damansara Heights back in September 2016. After 12 months, he began dabbling into personal training and realised that one's progress and development can tremendously improve when a coach's full attention is entirely on him, especially with something as extreme as Crossfit which at that time was all the rage. And that's how it all began. 

A father to four beautiful daughters and a husband to a gorgeous wife, he keeps active outside the gym by playing tennis and training Brazilian jiujitsu whenever he can.

EXERCISE IS DEFINED AS AN ACTIVITY REQUIRING PHYSICAL EFFORT, CARRIED OUT TO SUSTAIN OR IMPROVE HEALTH AND FITNESS.

 

AT PRSVR // DTRMND WE DEFINE TRAINING AS DOING WHATEVER IT TAKES TO IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH AND ACHIEVE THE FITNESS LEVEL YOU HAVE ALWAYS DESIRED. THESE ARE ACHIEVED THROUGH THE RIGHT PROTOCOL, NUTRITION, REST AND MENTAL ELEMENTS WITH A SPECIFIC FOCUS.

 

A NEW PROGRAM TO REPLACE THE ALREADY SUCCESSFUL 90 DAY FITNESS ACHIEVEMENT PROTOCOL, THE FAP100 IMPROVES ON THE 90FAP BY ENSURING EACH CLIENT'S TRAINING PROGRAM IS DEVICED ONLY AFTER A FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT SCREENING AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY SCREENING HAVE BEEN PERFORMED. THE CLIENT WILL THEN GO THROUGH ALL THE FUNDAMENTAL STRENGTH PROGRESSIONS TO FINALLY EARN THE RIGHT TO A FULL-ON, HARDCORE TRAINING. THE NUMBER 100 DENOTES THE AMOUNT OF SESSIONS A CLIENT SHOULD AIM TO TRAIN IN 12 MONTHS. 

WHICHEVER THE PROTOCOL CHOSEN, OUR APPROACH IS DETERMINED BY THE SPECIFIC GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF EACH INDIVIDUAL. THE PROTOCOLS ON OFFER ARE:
